Christine St. Clare
Chris St.
Clare is a partner within the Advisory practice at KPMG LLP. During her 32 years with the
firm, she has served as lead engagement partner on several of KPMG's largest clients, including The
Home Depot, J.C. Penney Company, Inc., and Royal Ahold N.V. Within KPMG, she has served a
four-year term on the Board of Directors, chaired the firm's Audit and Finance Committee, and
represented the U.S. Practice on KPMG's Firm of the Future Task Force. She was recently named
the firm's Southeast Area Go-To-Market leader.
Chris serves on KPMG's Women's Advisory Board, and is the executive sponsor of the KPMG
Network of Women in Atlanta. She is a member of KPMG's Global Council for People, Performance
and Culture. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Women's Forum
(International Women's Forum), the Board of Advisors for Emory University's Goizueta School of
Business, on the Corporate Board of Advisors for the University of Arizona's Southwest Center for
Retail Studies, the Board of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, the Board of Directors
Network, and is a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2008.
She is a member of the Women's Leadership Council of United Way of Metro Atlanta, and has
chaired several "Women of Tocqueville" United Way Campaigns. Chris served on the Board of
Directors for the YWCA from 2004 to 2006, and recently chaired the Hearts with Hope Gala, the
annual fundraiser for the Partnership Against Domestic Violence. She has also served as a
mentor in the Georgia 100 Mentor Exchange Program.
Chris is a frequent speaker on topics including Women in Leadership, Corporate Governance,
the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, and Ethics in Corporate America. Chris has made presentations
at Stanford University's Corporate Directors College, the Executive Women's Alliance, the Board of
Directors Network, the NABA Annual Conference, the Women's Forum of Georgia, and the International
Alliance of Women's Annual Conference.
She earned a bachelor of science in accounting from California State University in Long
Beach, Calif., and furthered her education by attending executive education course at The Wharton
School of the University of Pennsylvania.
